Description
German Leather Y-Harness as commonly issued to all German ground forces.
The leather Y-Harness became more standard issue as the war progressed with the amount of equipment issued to infantry straining their belt hooks.
In addition to distributing weight, the harness allowed for modular pack equipment such as the Pioneer Assault pack and A-Frame.
